My mum came back from work today and was all OMG I HAVE SOMETHING TO TELL YOU. Apparently the showflat she's been stationed at for the past few days is under invasion from cobras.

Two hours later
OHAY THARS THAT SNAKE AGAIN LOLZ STEWPID T
Apparently, the snakehad sekrit ninja skillz snuck in through the narrow opening under the door.
Then the security guard tries to poke it to death with an umbrella

-Cue frustrating chase sequence because my mum kept hovering within earshot and making it sound like the beginings of a reptilian armageddon if they so much as bonked it on the head-
Pest control FINALLY arrives and they cut two holes in the box that someone managed to trap the snake in and they spray some stuff and it dies. Everyone: WAH LIEWZ ANTI-CLIMATIC CAN? The wimminz start whining about how inhumane that was even though they'd been screaming at the men to OMFG KILL IT KILL IT KILL IIIIIIIIT for the past 15 minutes.
The next day
Security guard: Tiemz for morning nomz. Hay, whussat sound like something is banging against the glass?
HUGE BLACK COBRA: Y HALO THAR. PLZ TO BE SHARIN UR NOMZ? :B

So the pest control arrives with the sulphur powder and oh lulz you guys got a bigger one today? Heh, there might be a whole nest of 'em somewhere nearby. 8D
Some people, at this point, felt that the pest control people were a little off in the head. This is an understatement.
Pest control guy: LOL I THINK U GAIZ HAVE A COBRA PROBLEM.

The best part, however, was today. Some tiles got damaged so some construction workers came over early in the morning before opening time to put in some new ones.
Workers: K DONE. HEIGH-HO, HEIGH-HO, IT'S HOME FROM WORK WE G-
